So much is going on inside my head

It has been a long time since I have written anything for my blog. There is so much going on inside my head that I am not sure where to begin.

I was due to have a knee replacement early this year. Fortunately I postponed it as I ended up needing a hip replacement. This has helped my knee tremendously and I am able to function much better physically.

I have also had set backs physically and emotionally as I have had new diagnoses’ to add to my collection of things wrong with me. It is frustrating and soul crushing at times. The questions you keep asking yourself. How many more things are they going to find wrong with me? What to say to family when you refuse to investigate a new symptom because you are scared of what the Doctors will find? How am I supposed to cope with all of this?

Living in rural Australia and being chronically ill presents it own unique set of challenges. I had found a Doctor who listened to me and was prepared to learn about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. A rare occurrence indeed. I have been seeing this Doctor for seven months when they were placed on indefinite leave and will not be returning to the practice. What else can go wrong this year? Now I have to go back to seeing the only other Doctor at the practice who understands my conditions, and they are only available every second weekend and charge weekend rates.

I have been challenged in so many areas of my faith that I am still reeling from all the issues I have been relooking at and having in depth discussions with my husband about. How do I blog about these issues? How do I write what needs to be said without attacking or offending my christian friends? How do I be gracious to everyone?

I have found four really interesting people on Facebook that I have started following. They are all believers, yet they challenge the status quo of christianity as it is today. They give me hope that there are more people out there who are turning their backs on religion and law, and embracing Christ and His message of love and grace.

So know you have an idea of what is going on inside my head.
